Age Range:  4 years old - 8th Grade; We also have a High School option- contact us for more info! Divisions follow the school-year age groups/grades (age as of August for both the fall and the spring leagues during a specific school year)

Divisions: (We have separate divisions for Boys and Girls; we are not a Co-Ed League, except for our High School division)

  • 4 years old (Boys & Girls)
  • 5 years old (Boys & Girls)
  • 6 years old / 1st grade (Boys & Girls)
  • 2nd - 3rd grade (Boys & Girls)
  • 4th - 5th grade (Boys & Girls)
  • Middle School (6th - 8th Grade Boys & Girls)
  • High School (Co-Ed)

 

Practices

Scheduled once a week for one hour on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays. As a non-profit recreational league, we are grateful to our volunteer coaches!

 

Games

Scheduled for Saturdays (teams that are 4th Grade and up may play games at both locations!).

 

Choose Your Location for Practices:

  • Athens Fields
    (4701 Athens Boonesboro Road)The Athens location of I AM 3RD practices and plays at The Land, which is 100 acres of property located at 4701 Athens-Boonesboro Road, behind Brenda Cowen Elementary School.
  • Lexington Christian Academy Fields
    (450 West Reynolds Road)The Lexington Christian Academy (LCA) location of I AM 3RD practices and plays on the fields located west of Lexington Christian Academy, next to Wellington Elementary School. Note: Some divisions may practice across the street at Ashland Avenue Baptist Church.

Registration Options

We know how important friendships and family time are to your youth sports experience.  During registration, parents or guardians can request a practice day!  This is not a guarantee, however requests are accommodated as possible in the order of registration ... so the earlier the better!  You may also request that your child be placed on a team with a friend.  When forming teams, our staff will try to fulfill those friend requests and/or place your child on a team that practices on your requested day. However, due to the high number of players in the league and practice field/time constraints, we can never guarantee that a request can be accommodated.
